Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing existing customer relationships to meet and exceed sales targets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, quickly develop a strong understanding of our products and services, and a passion for building long-term relationships with clients. The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in promoting the company's offerings, driving revenue growth, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with potential customers through various channels such as phone calls, emails, and social media.
- Qualify leads and follow up with prospects to determine their needs and schedule product demonstrations or meetings.
- Research potential clients, industries, and market trends to create targeted sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Regularly check in with customers to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and uncover new sales opportunities.
- Compose accurate and compelling presentations and quotations to meet customer needs.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively sell and recommend solutions.
- Explain product features, benefits, and pricing to customers, answering any questions they may have.
- Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets by converting leads into paying customers.
- Coordinate with the sales manager or management team to create customized offers or quotes as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing to align sales efforts with ongoing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Work closely with sales, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and positive customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.

- Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and email platforms.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new sales tools and technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to self-improvement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a B2B sales environment.
- Experience with cold calling and outbound sales strategies.
- Knowledge of the industry or product/services offered by the company.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
- Occasional need to lift and carry office supplies (up to 15-20 pounds).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an inside sales or customer service role, preferably in a similar industry.
WORK HOURS AND BENEFITS:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Base salary + performance-based commissions (TBD)
